Wacker Appoints New Distributor in Germany for Pyrogenic Silica

26 Aug 2009 - Wacker, the Munich-based chemical company, has reorganized its distribution structure for pyrogenic silica (trademark: HDK®) in Germany. Effective September 1, 2009, Mülheim/Ruhr (Germany) based Brenntag GmbH will take over the distribution business of former distribution partner Staub & Co. Chemiehandelsgesellschaft mbH, Nürnberg.
 
In Germany, Brenntag GmbH Specialty Chemicals will distribute HDK® for use in applications such as life science, adhesives, chemical industry, construction, composites, elastomers and lubricants, whereas distribution of HDK® for use in paint & ink applications remains with Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH, Hamburg.
