Ashland increases resin and gelcoat prices in Europe and Asia Pacific regions

17 Apr 2009 - Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., is increasing the price of its unsaturated polyester resins and gelcoats sold in Europe and Asia Pacific regions by 3 to 4 percent effective May 1, or at the earliest possible time thereafter depending on individual customer contracts.
 
This price increase is driven by the recent, substantial increases in costs for certain key raw materials, including styrene, according to the company.
